Vist to Charlotte and Indianapolis

During May, David Doswell (Technical Director) and Zoe Timbrell (Sales and Marketing) joined the Motorsport Industry Association visit to Indianapolis and Charlotte to explore business opportunities in these two centres of American Motorsport. During the trip, we experienced all forms of American motorsport, ranging from the All Star Nascar race, the Indy 500, Hoosier 100 and the Bristol Thunder Valley Nationals. The aim of the trip to was to get involved and experience the variety and excitement trackside, to enable us to understand better the Motorsport Industry in the States. In addition to this, the MIA organised visits to a number of key businesses and networking events, to provide the group the opportunity of speaking with the real decision makers in their fields. We were overwhelmed by the reception that Titan received in the States and found that our history of building Formula Ford cars over 30 years ago, was well remembered by our friends there. As a direct result of this trip, and the contacts made, we are now developing a range of products to suit the drag racing market, and are working closely with a Top Fuel chassis builder and Pro Mod chassis builder, to ensure that the products are exactly what is needed. In addition to this, Titan are also working closely with a number of technical partners to further develop and expand the business in the States, and as a result, are looking forward to exhibiting at the PRI Show for the first time in five years.
